The Right Step believes in making the detoxification process as pain free as possible. Through the use of such state of the art medications as Suboxone and Campral we can help curb the discomfort of initial withdrawal from drugs and alcohol, as well as decrease ongoing cravings.

Our medical staff work individually with each person to ensure this process is as comfortable as possible. Customized care is important because each person is unique and responds differently to the detoxification process. Once this phase is complete, usually within one to three days, your treatment team will recommend the next level of care.

What is ambulatory detox?

Ambulatory detox enables clients to be safely detoxified in the comfort of their home environment and have support available while undergoing this process. These services are provided on an outpatient basis from our Baytown and Pasadena locations. If the patient does not have medical insurance or is unable to pay for treatment services, alternative funding may be available if the patient meets the financial eligibility criteria.

Clients must be at least 18 years old, have available transportation, commit to attending all ambulatory detox services/appointments daily, as well as commit to fully participate in any subsequent treatment as recommended by our licensed chemical dependency counselors.
