Our Baton Rouge location offers Residential Inpatient Treatment (for men only), Intensive Outpatient Care, and Aftercare Services. The Residential Inpatient Care takes place in a comfortable community setting and ranges from 5-30 days. In rehab men learn to make positive changes in their lives and begin to learn to live without drugs and alcohol. Patients connect with other men in recovery and learn from each other on their journey through rehab. The Right Step's multi-disciplinary treatment team uses a structured program track that's based on the 12-step recovery principles and a proven medical model. Members of the group participate in group and individual counseling, spirituality awareness, educational classes, and recreational outdoor activities among other things. The Intensive Outpatient Care is for people who are ready to go back to work or other life and family responsibilities while also spending 10 hours a week with a licensed chemical dependency counselor who helps them adjust to sober living. Finally, our recovery maintenance program in Baton Rouge is unique in that we provide a two year, no cost program of support, counseling and referrals for patients once they successfully complete any program within our network. The groups meet weekly to stay connected to others who are recovering and provide support for each other. We feel that ongoing treatment after completing rehab is an important part of the recovery process. By monitoring patients during this crucial time period, we help ensure that they don't suffer a relapse.
