Hill Country Location
The Right Step Hill Country is a residential treatment center that provides substance abuse treatment services in a scenic, relaxed and private atmosphere in the famous Texas hill country. The center is located in Wimberley, TX, about halfway between Austin and San Antonio. This facility offers comprehensive 32-bed treatment center on an 8-acre campus featuring separate cottages for men and women, a swimming pool, putting green, work-out room and volleyball court. The services offered at the Hill Country location include Detoxification, Adult Residential Inpatient care, Intensive Outpatient care, and Aftercare Services. Detox is one of the many reasons people may refuse to seek treatment for their addiction problems. The experience has a reputation for being painful and difficult, but The Right Step's goal is to make the detox process as easy and pain free as possible. Medications like Suboxone and Campral can help curb the discomfort of initial withdrawal from drugs and alcohol, and also decrease ongoing cravings. Our medical staff works with each patient on one-by-one basis to make sure everyone receives a personalized treatment plan depending on their addiction. This is important since everyone responds to the detoxification process differently. After detox is complete, usually after one to three days, the medical and treatment team will suggest the next phase of treatment. Adult Residential Inpatient Care takes place in a comfortable community setting and ranges from 5-30 days. In rehab, adults learn how to make positive changes in their lives, begin to live without drugs and alcohol, and connect with others recovering from addiction as well. Our Aftercare Services includes free, two-year counseling and support, and is offered to those who've successfully completed any of our programs. This helps our patients stay on track and begin their lives as sober individuals.
