But, the good news is that it doesn't have to be a complicated process with The Right Step. Our caring and compassionate staff make every effort to make the decision to get help an easy one. If your loved one needs help, then we have listed below some information to help you in three easy steps. Start the road to recovery immediately by starting with our easy steps to admission:

  1. Call one of our caring and professional call representatives at The Right Step with client details. Our representative will collect all of the information needed and set up a free consultation with our admissions department
  2. Our admissions staff will contact you to inform of any out of pocket expenses that may occur.
  3. You or your loved one will meet with an admissions counselor to determine which level of treatment is most appropriate for your needs.

The Right Step Admission Checklist & Information

Once The Right Step clinical team makes an assessment, they may recommend any number of treatment options. Depending on the level of alcohol or drug dependency, there are different levels of care. If residential treatment is a possibility for your loved one, they should be prepared to admit immediately after the assessment. The person will immediately be admitted into the Residential Inpatient program to begin their road to recovery.  If detoxification is required, the client will be admitted to the detoxification unit first, then transferred to Residential Inpatient. If outpatient treatment is recommended you will be provided convenient locations to start those sessions. Either way, our clinical team will be able to determine the correct path of treatment from the beginning, but if admittance into our program is suggested, we've provided a checklist to make the transition an easy one.

Your loved one should have these items when coming to the assessment for potential residential treatment:

  • clothes for ten days (casual and recreation/workout)
  • coins for laundry and the pay phone
  • no more than $40 cash
  • personal items (tooth brush, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, hairbrush, dryer, etc.)
  • medications (30 day supply)
  • insurance card (if you're using insurance)
  • photo ID
  • laundry supplies
